Don’t be paralyzed.

According to Paul Hart in WFG, the two biggest paralyzers in life are:

  1. Worrying about what others think of you,
  2. Fear of rejection.

I completely agree with him. It’s normal to dislike getting rejected, I get it. But we’re grown ups, aren’t we? Come on, when someone says no to us, it’s OK – don’t take it personally and more importantly, don’t take offence. It won’t kill you. Just move on to the next prospect. And we all just need to accept the fact that, someone out there will always have an opinion about you whether good or bad – for example:

You can be the juiciest, ripest, peach in the world. And there’s still going to be somebody who hates peaches.

Ain’t that the truth?! What others think about you is none of your business. What you think about yourself is everything. Just accept it for what it is and never allow it to paralyze you from continuing to do what’s best for your future.
